I still think the 'slick' factor can be addressed in some measure by 
the certification system, though.  For instance, look at all our recent 
XHTML-IM discussion.  Look at things like avatars, which people take 
for granted on the other networks.

A certification for general standards compliance.  A certification for 
advanced support.  Stuff like that.

But I think you already heard all my arguments on this a couple of 
months ago. ;)
