I know the guy who wrote that :)

) It seems the problems have gone! Since yesterday (Aug 17), I have been
) able to see the presences of other ICQ users, as normal.

AOL reverted the change to their TOC1 servers early yesterday morning, so
users should no longer be affected.

AOL will be working to correct the problems experienced with the server
component, and may attempt to re-introduce the new version sometime in the
future. There is no current estimated time for re-introduction, and I may
not receive warning before it is re-introduced, so please be on the lookout
for future regressions.

If you do experience any problems tracking users on a TOC1 service (either
AIM or ICQ), let me know and I will pass it along.
