[jdev] Jabber Applet message window only

Greetings!   I have what I hope is a very simple question about
JabberApplet.  
 
I am a programmer currently doing some PHP development for my company,
and I recently installed the JabberApplet
(http://jabberapplet.jabberstudio.org/) program.  It works good but we
need some slightly different functionality and wanted to see if it was
non-trivial thing to do.  
 
We have a running jabber server and a number of employees that can log
into it.  JabberApplet already allow me to set up a log in with a
specific username/password.  
 
I'd like to be able to open up your java applet right to the actual
"chat session" window, bypassing the "Contact List" altogether.  I'm
implementing a "Chat with me now" button on each of the employee's
personal pages that I want to open up a simple chat session with a
particular employee (rather than opening a Contact List first, then have
to choose who they want to chat with).  
 
Is this functionality already there maybe?
