Is there any good place for looking at writing components to the jabberd
server (not transports but other component modules) that are NOT in c?

Is it even possible? I'm not a c programmer but I know my way around
python pretty well and I can think of some potentially useful components
unrelated to instant messaging but related to client organization. -ie:
machine's 1-4 connect to the jabber server, they talk to the
organization component which keeps track of where they should be.

maybe this is a place where an agent would be smarter than a component
but I think it would be interesting to hear more about writing
components/services in languages other than C.
