No Palm implemention of J2ME that I know of supports AWT.
However, it seems Palm OS 6 will implement the PDAP profile I just 
mention in my response to Matthias.

WAP gateways can be used to block acces to the contentypes that are 
related to jar and jad files, or maybe even their extentions. So 
depending on the phone you use you could try both another extention and 
another contenttype. 

Or you could switch to a less greedy or idiotic provider. :)
