[JDEV] parsing xml using xmlpull & kxml

Hi peeps;

Does anyone know if these parsers will parse a stream char by char, I can 
get it working with strings but I am reading off a socket char by char and 
need to able to parse it as it comes, anybody know how to do this, example 
code is welcome or a point in the right direction
