Something I really would like to write. But at least here in Germany I
see legal issues. HAMs here are only allowed to establish connections to
non-HAM-stations or to transmit non-HAM messages for other people. I
guess that's what I would do if I let amessage establish HAM connections
for non-HAM users. I don't think that's much different in other
countries.
But at least I could ask our radio regulations authority which would
have to assign a call sign for the jabber server anyway.
An other possibility would be to use XMPP HAM-internal. That shouldn't
be a legal problem.
Any other OMs here that would be interested in working on any of this
topics?
