Hello guys! :)

I'm currently working on my undergraduate thesis project that requires me to 
develop an instant messenger translation system. I was just wondering if i 
can integrate Jabber technology to the instant messenger i'll be developing? 
btw, the instant messenger will be written in Java. Kindly help me....
