I'm aware of that.
My point was just that if we were going to tell people to avoid HTML e-mail
for the sake of the list recipients (which, as I'm fairly sure folks on the
list aren't sending spam, scripts and virii, was my understanding on the
reasoning; i.e., a 'make the list legible for the lowest common
denominator'), it's fair for a similar request to be made that PGP
signatures be done in armored ASCII for the same reason.
Mea culpa if I misunderstood the justification. :)
