Crazy idea... what are the odds that gaim's core backend could get
grafted onto a jabber transport? Start running all the jabber transport
functionality throught ONE standard interface, have ONE place for each
legacy network's code. Then any gaim developers who improve things there
help the jabber project, and any jabber developers who want to work on
legacy connectivity help the gaim project...
