I also wish to join jabberd1.4.2 project but jabber1.4.2 is not 
developed any more.
I started to develop WPJabber about year ago. In first version WPJabber 
was developed
only for our purposes as server for our own communicator. So fork in 
this projects was
done a year ago. Now it was rebuilded to get back to jabber protocol 
specification and to give
people fast, stable and reliable server.
