[JDEV] Advice on Jabber server for testing application

I've been using a Jabber server on my Mac OS X for some time now,  
during this I've only set localhost for the </ip>.

Can someone advise me how to set it properly so I can connect one other 
computer to this server?

I had changed the localhost tags to the IP of the computer for the 
current network but I got this error:

20030121T18:15:11: [notice] (adrian-browns-computer.local): bouncing a 
routed packet to adrian-browns-computer.local from 15 at c2s/214350: 
Internal Delivery Error


And nothing much happened for my Jabber client afterwards..
