[JDEV] Is it possible to prevent registered transport layersautomatically logging in?

I'm starting to implement a new MSN transport.  Support for as many JEPs
as possible is towards the end of my TODO list.  Of course, this is no
help in the short-run.

I know very little about the current transport, so I can't help you if
you're planning to patch it.
