[JDEV] File format for JIM log files

The log files that JIM writes are encrypted, as a result of adamant customer
requirements. The key to decrypt those files is not publicly available (for
obvious reasons), and I don't know of any way to retrieve the data in them
without using JIM.

You are correct that we no longer offer JIM as a product of Jabber, Inc., so
the support available is limited. However, please do contact our support
organization if you feel you need to go forward with this approach, and
we'll see if there's anything possible we can do to help.
