[JDEV] Support for JEP-0025

Hi,
I am implementing a J2ME jabber client and trying to find out whether the
client can connect to the Jabber server over HTTP. Is there widespread
support for JEP-0025? The server details page at
http://www.jabber.org/software/serverdetail.php?projectID=3 seems to
indicate otherwise, but I am not sure how current this is? Also are there
any other solutions for connecting to a Jabber server over HTTP?
