[JDEV] All messages sent to MSN/Yahoo/ICQ are not received

I am trying to send about 20 messages to Yahoo/MSN/ICQ consecutively to the same Id with the interval of 5 secs. I don't get all 20 messages those are sent. Sometimes I got 18 messages, sometimes only 5 messages, but never, all 20 messages. 
To check what could be the problem, I started the jabber server in debug mode, I found that server has thrown error 404 in between for the Id which the message is sent. 
I integrated with the smack1.0 release also. 
I want to know, How can I handle errors, occurred while sending the messages?
