[JDEV] Login in Invisible Mode

Hi All,
       I am trying to login with invisible mode with jabber server 1.4.2. 
What I observed was that at login time I get the presence of my buddies who 
are currently online. I also get their unavailable presence when they 
disconnect. But I don't get any status changes made by them while I am 
invisible. Is this how invisible mode works ? I thought while I m invisible 
I would get presence status changes from buddies. Any comments. Thanks in 
advance.
