[JDEV] Client C/C++ Library for Linux.

Hi All,

I've had a look at the code library table on Jabber.org, and I was
wondering if you could advise a C/C++ client-side library to use.  

I've tried to compile all of them, but with *very* limited success under
RH 8.0.  I was wondering if someone on the list had some experience with
one of them/could advise which one is most advanced/compliant.

Any help would be appreciated.
