[JDEV] Add Gateway buddy directly thru jabber client

Hi,

 

I understand, jabber user can subscribe any gateways installed with
jabber server with corresponding screen name and password.

Then, buddies from appropriate gateway is populated under their jabber
roster, 

provided those buddies already added to those gateways thru their native
clients or so.

 

My question is, can we add gateway buddy to jabber roster, without
adding that buddy thru gateway native client.

 

Scenario,

 

User1 at jabber.com is user of jabber server (jabber.com
<mailto:jabber at server.com> )

jabber.com <mailto:jabber at server.com>  has yahoo gateway installed.

User1 at jabber.com got yahoo account user1-y at yahoo.com

Under user1-y at yahoo.com buddies, he got user2-y at yahoo.com as buddy(this
buddy is added already by his yahoo messenger).

User1 at jabber.com registers yahoo account using his user1-y at yahoo.com

Now, He got yahoo buddy user2-y at yahoo.com populated under jabber roster
list.

Another yahoo user user3-y at yahoo.com, who is not under user1-y at yahoo.com
yahoo buddy list.

User1 at jabber.com wants to add user3-y at yahoo.com without adding this
buddy thru yahoo messenger.
