[JDEV] ANON CVS Problem, please help

Does anyone use CVS at all? 
I have beend able to get the code from :
:pserver:anonymous at jabberstudio.org:/home/cvs

Is ther any difference between that and 
:pserver:anoncvs at jabber.org:/home/cvs ?


Also there is some software with a crazy license on it,
a "ransom" license? I thought jabber is free software? I dont want any
ransom software on my machine, why is in CVS if it cannot be used?
