Yes, I second that. The #2 "fix" in future versions of Jabber should be
the documentation. While alot of the *content* may be on the website, it
is obviously not very well organized, and I'm sure even better content
could be done. This is only after the #1 fix of bug-killing, and well
before the #3 fix of adding features like the recent POP3 Offline
Messaging JEP.
I personally love writing documentation. I am not a coder (I hate
coding), and am more of an ideas researcher and designer. I am working
on a good newbie introduction to Jabber to replace StPeter's good but
outdated one. I'll be contributing it in a month or so. But, if the JSF
is able to hire me, I wouldn't mind doing documentation all day long :-)
Ohh, yeah, Jabber would be the best documented technology out there..
