[JDEV] IRC Transport Development, with Gabber/other clients

Cheers to Benoit for working on the IRC transport!

I have some questions on it:

1. When using the patched Gabber for JCF, I can join the channel but Gabber 
   doesn't display the messages coming from IRC as if it doesn't understand   
   them.  The transport logs are like this:

2. The Gabber conference window shows the Jabber nick, and not the IRC nick.
   The IRC server does use the IRC nick, as confirmed by logging separately
   into IRC.

3. Is it possible to specify the IRC server from the client, and not just
   use the one hard-coded in the config file?  This is needed for a 
   "general purpose" gateway to make a Jabber client substitute for an IRC
   client.

Finally, which is the authoritative XML spec for JCF?  This is to help 
developing a client.
