[JDEV] sound alert problem

Hi all,

I am working on Java based Jabber client. The requirement is to play Sound
alerts when a user is available and unavailable.

I could play the Sound alerts based on the user presence element. But the
problem is the it alerts even if the a buddy is already logged in .

Can someone please help me , in identifying if a buddy already logged in.
