[JDEV] SOT : any ICQ-gateway that work ??

Hi,

Slightly off topic maybe, but I cannot get any jabber-client to send
ICQ-messages. I try to test a jabber-client ( developed using JabberPy )
that will send messages to an ICQ-account, but haven't got either WinJab,
myJabber or Jabber Instant Messenger to work. They just seem to get into an
endless loop when I try to add an ICQ-gateway. Nothing happens.  

My project is on halt until I get communication going between the jabber
server/network and the ICQ-network, so any clues, hints etc. are welcome.
