I also have similar problems, I run WinXP with IE 6 SP1..
When browsing to http://www.jabberstudio.org/projects/twisted-pymsn-t for example, I got the following:
HTTP/1.1 302 Found Date: Mon, 16 Dec 2002 13:46:00 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) Debian GNU/Linux mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a mod_perl/1.26 mod_python/2.7.8 Python/2.1.3 PHP/4.1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.9 OpenSSL/0.9.6d X-Powered-By: PHP/4.1.2 Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Pragma: no-cache Location: http://www.jabberstudio.org/projects/twisted-pymsn-t/project/view.php Content-Encoding: gzip Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Length: 639 Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=97 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 ‹œTMoÛ0 ½÷W

If I refresh the page, everything is fine...
Also when clicking around I have noticed that the red banners (that have white text) do not appear sometimes.. And refreshing the page magically makes everything better.
Hope this helps!

Are you maybe using Mozilla and have enabled "http pipelining"? This is
an experimentat feature in Mozilla and may cause the problems that you
describe.
