This location seems not to be in your library path.

You can define the library path in /etc/ld.so.conf. If you are only user 
on the system you can add your own path in the environment variable 
LD_LIBRARY_PATH, e.g.
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib
