Then I never get my auth request acknowledged, but I'm not ruling out thi
being something funky with my client when the JID doesn't have an @ symbol
in it, so I was wondering if anyone else had tried.

Umm...yeah! Must fix that. But it still doesn't answer my question. Why
does Jogger see fit to send me it's presence everytime mine changes? The
rest of my roster doesn't do this.
