[JDEV] Emoticons: guidelines

Never mind ... it looks like people are too set on doing things the
text hacking way. I really don't have the time or energy to devote to
this argument any more. My plan is to just let whatever happens happen.
If I don't like it, I'll simply do whatever I want and write a Jabber-t
for my not-quite-Jabber setup ;-)
