They are proprietary, I thought they were centralized too, but I could
be wrong there. As for a patent pending on msg encryption, I have to
give them a big "yeah right". If a patent is awarded in that area (even
if it is a new algorithm), then it'll be highly contested. Encrypting
XML isn't exactly something new and fresh, encrypting any other data is
definately nothing new.
