[JDEV] server farming info

hi,

Does the Jabber 1.4.1 server allow multiple servers supporting the same
domain?
(for scalability, etc.)
I've read through the JDEV archive, and found some information about server
farming.
It mentioned that 1.2 is to have farming enhancements but this was in a
posting written
in 2000. I cannot find any documents or information which discusses multiple
servers
for scalability. Is this something which has yet to be implemented?
