[JDEV] aim-t docs

I'm interested in doing some work on the transports, and I thought I'd 
start with AIM.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any design documentation, and 
very little code documentation.

I'm interested in any documents that say specifically how any of the 
individual transports go together, or what's involved in writing a 
transport in general.

If anyone can point me in the right direction on this, I'd appreciate 
it.  Thanks.
