[JDEV] loop

after I request roster info from the server, it keeps on sending me IQs in
an infinite loop:

<iq type='set'><query xmlns='jabber:iq:roster'><item
jid='XXXXXXXX at icq.acsplnx' name='XXXX_ICQ' subscription='none'
ask='subscribe' server='yes'><group>group_1</group></item></query></iq>

the IQ received in this loop is always the same...I mena, reffers to the
same JID 
is there any possible solution?
