[JDEV] IRC transport not connecting

I'm sorry, what is JCF irc-t?  
I'm using the contributed module of Benoit Orihuela, and the Gabber patch.

I do a Services/Browse Jabber Conference Services, enter irc.localhost
as the Server to browse (since that's defined in my config file), but
nothing happens with Gabber and with jabberd.

Thanks for the info, I knoew the old IRC is obsolete but I wasn't sure which
Gabber command it corresponded to.
