well, most clients of today doesn't seem to separate
usernames and server. I might forseeing something,
but what if I want my users to use jabber.domain.com
with the short usernames: user at domain.com?
to be able to log on to the account user at domain.com
i guess most clients makes a direct connection to
whatever comes after the @. if my server is not configured
on that host but jabber.domain.com (with approriate SRV-rec.)
there is no way to find it unless clients also use SVR-lookup.

    /m
