What sort of module, exactly? I haven't done as much work on the JSM,
but it seems difficult to do anything generic for the entire server in
the JSM.

I could make an actual service that does LDAP stuff (this was my
original intention), but this will force me to make changes in other
modules (such as conference) that are specific to this LDAP module.
This will force me to maintain lots of stuff in the server with every
new server version - whereas a nice generic solution would make things
easier to maintain.

But ultimately, I don't mind. Was mostly just checking to make sure
there's not already something in the works that I should be using :)
