Of course I cannot gurannte it is not flawed; however, I run all 
tests, including test_sig which specificaly check signal handling, 
and it works fine. test_select and test_mp worked fine, too, so I 
strongly doubt this is the source...

Then again, who know... but if it is the cause, there's hardly 
anything I can do about it, right? So for now I decide not to believe 
it and to try for another solution.

I will get latest CVS once more and see if that changes anything.
