Much as I like the content at docs.jabber.org, it actually doesn't have
everything you need to figure out how to write a Jabber client -- what
it's missing is a document with a title something like "So You Want to
Write a Jabber Client, Eh?" that would walk you through the client
development process, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the various
Jabber client libraries, cover some of the core design issues involved,
and describe the basic functionality or use cases that any
self-respecting Jabber client needs to address. Sounds like a cool
document, huh? Maybe I'll have to put it together one of these days....
