NetBSD-15/i386:
i tried building static jabber-1.4 .. and cvs for some time but still:
Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 deliver.c:649 delivering to instance 'sessions'
Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 xdb.c:41 xdb_results checking xdb packet <xdb

Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 client.c:132 C2S: mm at mail.knot.nl has an active

Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 client.c:186 Writing packet to MIO: <iq id='0'
type='result'><query xmlns='jabber:iq:auth'><username>

Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 mio.c:899 mio_write called on x: 8160000 buffer:

Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 dnsrv.c:143 dnsrv: Read error on coprocess(1): 1
Operation not permitted
Mon Mar 19 14:34:02 2001 dnsrv.c:157 DNSRV CHILD: out of loop.. exiting normal
User defined signal 2
so any time a user or new user connects my server's gone.
if i outcomment:
if(mio__data != NULL)
pth_raise(mio__data->t, SIGUSR2);
in mio_write in mio.c, a (new) user can connect.
conference and jud won't work, i guess related to outcommenting the pth_raise.
so to me this seems related to
David Clissold's jabberd crash in swapcontext() via _mio_raw_connect()
.. http://mailman.jabber.org/pipermail/jdev/2001-March/005574.html
and Phil Oleson's comment.
i hope someone looks into the pth/mio thingy ..
thanx,
~n
