Hi Aditya, a properly written transport should reconnect you if you use
JabberSession.SendPresence to explicitly send an "available" presence. To
be safe, maybe you might also send an "unavailable" presence first.

Subject: [JDEV] Reconnecting a transport
Hello all:
I'm writing a Jabber client based on JabberCOM and had question regarding
transport connections on the Jabber server. When I have a transported
connected (say, the AIM Transport), and then start AIM, the AIM server
then
disconnects me since it detects that I'm logged in twice. The Jabber then
notifies me of this. If I quit AIM such that I have nothing connected to
AOL's
network, how do I reinstantiation the AIM Transport connection?
Thanks in advance.
Aditya
