nevermind about what is meant by scripting language from me, i
understand now. thanks!

i say that a server-side scripting language should be implemented
asap, especially for Rules Processing. i don't thiunk Client Message
Extenions are as important, neither is the General Client Scripting,
all described by mr Emswiler.

this scripting language, though, i take it it cannot become part of
the jabber development itself? i don't know much about the internals
of what 'jabber' really is at it's core, but i take it what we know as
'jabber' is just the transfer protocol, not any server-side managment
stuff? that is all done currently by Jabelin (the OS server)? so the
desire for a server-side scripting language is to have a unified
control method for these features not handled by the protocol?

if this is the case, then i put my vote in for some XML-based
language. DOM, as was suggested earlier. is this possible, powerful,
and flexible enough? if so, i say 'go for it!'.
