[JDEV] Removing user account from Jabber server!!!

The only way to remove it completely from jabber is to restart the server.

I also had to restart the jabber server after removing the username.xml
file.
Is there a specific IQ message or somesuch to remove references to a
user in a running jabber server? Or is restarting the jabber server
required?
