Sorry to have missed this the first time but, as noted in a recent
message from Keith Minkler
(http://mailman.jabber.org/pipermail/jdev/2001-January/004840.html), the
CVS conferencing code will work only with the 1.4pre2 server code. So my
advice might not help you out with your 1.2 server.... :(
