[JDEV] Groupchat-transport-1.0.0

I am trying to compile groupchat 1.0.0 on linux with libxode-1.2 and
jabber-1.2 -

"/trans/groupchat-transport-1.0.0/configure:1625: undefined
reference to `pool_new'"


configure dies when checking for -lxode.  Am I using the wrong version
of libxode?  Also where would I be able to find CVS info on getting
lastest jabber, and transports out of cvs (servers, cvs commands,
anonymous pass?).
