    I'd say parts of it are not quite right, but I wouldn't say the entire
question is off the wall.  The answer would end up being simple, though.  If
something happens, some of the developers that have spent alot of time on
the jabber project may not be able to spend quite as much time on it.  It
would only affect the input of code to the project that happens to be
happening becouse of Jabber.com specific requirments, which filter back, and
lead to improvments in Jabber as a whole.  These improvments would simply
now be motivated by different things, thats all..  :-P  Rest assured,
Jabbers here to stay.  At no time has Jabber belonged to Jabber.com.  So,
the statement:

    Is completely out of line IMHO.
