[JDEV] Jabber Server Upgrade

If the 1.2 howto does not work for your platform, you may want to go
through the archives for this list
(http://mailman.jabber.org/pipermail/jdev/) for information related to
non-Linux platforms (FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, etc.). You might want to
upgrade to 1.4pre2 since it's easy to get running, or just wait for the
final 1.4 release, which should happen Real Soon Now [tm].

BTW, in case you want to get your old server running, the howto for the
1.0 server is located at:
