ICQ transport (was RE: [JDEV] msn-transport error)

Judging from previous JDEV articles, I'd say the answer 
is mixed, but generally "no".  Skimming through previous
two weeks' worth of messages on this topic, I see 5 out
of 6 users can't make it work:

Serge Komlichenko: "I can't install icq-transport on my jabber server."

Lars Petersen: "Keep up the good work!!! I can't wait until it works =)))"

Erich Zigler: "Bus error (core dumped)"

Anthony Hurge: "I'm having trouble with both ICQ and MSN"

Jonathan McDowell: "I understand 1.4 doesn't do ICQ yet"

Vamsi Mohun does have it working, see
