[JDEV] xdb_sql

Hi,

As you may know, we have hacked the old xdb/mysql code found in the 1.0
release into a more generic xdb_sql component. Many people on JDEV have
expressed interest in getting and improving this code.

Now, we'd like to contribute this component back to the Jabber
community, under the JOSL license.

What do you think of it ? Are there licensing issues I should be aware
of ? In particular, the old code had no license on it. It had mainly
been commited into CVS by Eric (erbo), so what's your opinion Eric ?

We'd be most than happy to have it merged into the CVS tree, but it
might first interfere with the 1.4 release schedule. So I can also offer
to host it on our own CVS for a while if you prefer so. Again, what do
you think is best ?
