[JDEV] Installation Question

I hope it's ok to post to this list for installation help.  The install docs
suggested it.
I'm getting errors when starting the Jabber daemon.  I compiled the source
without error under Mandrake Linux 7.1.
Here is the I invoke the jabber daemon and the error message I get:



[jabber at host41-73 jabberd]$ ./jabberd -h xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx &
[4] 12292
[jabber at host41-73 jabberd]$ Invalid Configuration in instance 'logger':
