[JDEV] Scalability?

Hi there!

I just subscribed to the list, maybe I'm asking a FAQ, but I'd like to know
if there's a possibility to scale jabber servers. Like putting up another
box if the first one is about to burst ;)

Another thing I'd like to know: How many users can a single jabber server
handle
at a time?

We're planning on using Jabber for some thousand concurrent users.
Some possibility to use loadbalancing would be nice, too :)

Any suggestions or facts that I don't know of yet?
