[JDEV] [jabberd <defunct> ]

I have jabber setup on a server with the groupchat transport and have the
server setup to start a second server for the groupchat transport as
recommended.

My question is if anyone knows why I have two processes one of which appears
to start go defunct and disappear. After which another starts and has a
higher pid.

If I configure the transport within the primary jabber process is appears to
work fine, but I get errors when I try to insert the log section for the
groupchat transport.
